After chatting with Gloucester Pilots it looks as though we will be catching the 4:30am Friday ebb tide out of Sharpness down the Bristol Channel to Portishead and then the next flood tide into Bristol Docks.
It should be worth the wait as a large high pressure system is building in the Atlantic and is expected to last for some time.
Hoorah!!!
Early night on Thursday though!
