Cruising The Coventry Canal Again

Last night the rain stopped so that we could enjoy our anniversary meal outside in the cratch area. Thanks for the bubbly Maggie.

We are now back on familiar territory on the Coventry canal as this was our local waterway when we had our last boat "Anna of The Five Towns"  Then we were moored in Fazeley Mill marina near Tamworth. We had to take a nostalgic look at our old moorings fpr old times sake.
When we passed under the M42 we were impressed with the drawings that were on the buttresses.

Ahh!

As we passed Alvecote Marina, the former base for the Canaltime hire boat company, there were 5 superb old working boats lined up.

Tonight we are moored up outside the Tame Otter where Keith had his first lamb shank back in 2001.

Antics when we got back from the pub!
